GT6 Help me decide on the GT6+ / Community Vote

Tom-

Where's option 4, buy it and keep all the rest?

Randy

Despite being the owner of a Spitfire....

I personally think, given the choice, I'd stick with the 4. More car, more potential value when your're done.

but the 6's can be a hoot, and there's nothing like one that's well done.....

tough decision, do both?

but that's just me.

Get out of my head Randy - LOL.

There is a little voice in my head saying that just because I can, doesn't mean I should. I know, I know, that voice should have spoken up several cars ago.

My little voice and your little voice had a discussion and they both agreed that you should do as Randy suggest....buy it and keep em all.

I told you, my little voice is trouble!

Cheers,
M. Pied Lourd

You aren't helping here!

Can I ship it up North for some of your expert restoration work? Heck, let's turn it into a BCF community project where it travels around and in return for use everyone does their own thing. With the skills and expertise on this forum it would end up being the worlds best GT6+ - LOL.

I though option 3 "are you kidding" was the buy it and keep them all vote? That's what are you kidding means to me.

I'll be the (probably singular) voice for keeping focused on what you're already working on. Get a couple of "Vroom" postings about your current cars -- then you can add in other projects.

But then my view on LBCs is one of serial monogamy; you can have many cars, just not all at once.

option 4,
keep the 4a, buy the 6 and happiness will follow-eventually. 4a for the summer, 6 for the wetter times of the year. I am working on a 4 but would love to complement it with a 6. That's what i call the GRUNT and SCREAM.
Rob

HooBoi. I'm in th' "Get the 6 an' KEEP 'em all" category too.

I say get a GT6 any time you can! what year? and condition?

buy the 6 and keep em all...didn't see that option...but thats my vote..

What? You are considering only having one Triumph? How strange!!! :smirk:
The TR4A and GT6 are quite different cars, so I think it is all down to personal choice. Do you want a nice smooth engine and a roof or do you want a rough old four-pot and sun on your hair?

Or do you want both !!

I hate to sound like the downer here... but if you don't have time (or w/e the case may be) to work on the TR4, what makes you think you'll magically get time (or w/e) for the GT6? I say finish the project you already started, regardless of whether you get the GT6 or not. That TR4 needs love, and your the person to do it
