Hello everyone. I don't get out of the Triumph forum that much, but I'm looking for a part that you guys might be more suited to help me with. Would anyone have one of these that I could buy? It's a float bowl cover for an HS carb. I'm looking for one with the same fuel line configuration.

Thanks in advance!

These can be bought new from Burlen fuel systems, however it's worth buying an old carb or pair of carbs on ebay. (there are loads on ebay uk). Strip and clean the bits and sell them individually on ebay motors. You will not only get the part you need, but you will turn a surprising profit!

Jack,

I've been in contact with Burlen and they don't make these covers yet, but they said that they'll be available "in the near future"

Hopefully I'll be able to run across one somewhere.

I will look this weekend. I have loads put away, and can probably turn one up

OK, I take that back. I just opened a box, and the first carb I picked up has it. Give me a mailing address, and I will ship it out.

You just gotta love the "one for all and all for one"ness of this "community"! It is so impressive - to me - to see the resquests for help, be it a part or technique or advice, and the responses that come back! Makes me feel good about the human spirit! I am glad I found this forum!

Requests* even!

Thank th' innernet and Basil.

And to quote Red Green: "We're all in this together."
