Possibly a tenax fastener stud?

It looks like a 10x32 thread and a 3/16" ball like the tenax studs but the tenax studs have a larger hex (5/16 or 3/8)and may be a bit longer.

Possibly a tenax fastener stud? :iagree:

However the aftermarket replacements are slightly larger than an original, but the threads are the same.--Keoke

Can you get the old broken thread part out of the piece? On a lathe the ball part could be shallowly drilled, threaded and a "stud" put in.
