I need a late 70s- early 80s CJ5. I'm looking for one that is in the "drag it out of my yard" catagory. My project is in need of lots of oddball goodies, and it would be immensely helpful to have a hulk to work with.
My criteria is,
It has to be a CJ5, not a 6 or 7.
It has to be a 76-83 (built by AMC)
It has to be cheap. $200 or less (preferrably a lot less)
It has to have a clear title.
It can be in any condition. Driveline is not a big issue ( it could even be missing) as my driveline is in good shape and rot is not a real big issue either as new sheet metal is pretty cheap.
steel disc wheels, good fenders, good lowback seats are all pluses but not necessary. a good hardtop may be worth some extra in the purchase price, we'll see.
