Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I live in upstate NY in the village of Fairport. I recently purchase a 1979 MGB Mrk 3. Pageant Blue named Dory. Not breaking it out until the salts off the roads. But, hey it gives me something to look forward to on these long fridged nights. I'm sure I be picking your collective brains as I learn my way around my new toy.
Regards, Richard R.

Richard,

Welcome to you and Dory. You will find the many of the minds here will be most helpful, and the rest of us will be friendly even when we know nothing about mechanics. Stay warm, and post plenty of photos when you and Dory hit the roads this spring.

Hi Richard,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC (Little British Car) site anywhere.

We`ve had our 1st taste of winter yesterday in NW SC. There`s about 1/2" - 3/4" of that funny "White" stuff on the ground. Hopefully the last taste!! By the weekend were supposed to be in the low 60s & wet.

You may want to introduce yourself & your "B" to the "MG Forum" and meet with all the nice folks there who will be more than anxious to answer any questions you may have.

As Brooklands (Hi Dave) mentions; We "All" love Pics here!!

Happy Motoring,

Russ

Rich - welcome to BCF. My first LBC was an MGB, named "Dorcas". The Black Beast. You'll find out how much fun these cars are when Spring finally arrives. And you'll find out what "beast" means when you try to work on the car's heater!

When you're ready to ask questions and post photos, head over to the MG board here.

Good to have you with us. And looking forward to learning about the "chef" reference.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

Welcome! The colour of your car is probably my favourite on an MGB.

One of my cars is a '69 MGB roadster (white). We love going up near your area in the Fall for the vintage races at Watkins Glen (we did a circuit around Seneca Lake last year.....lots of wineries).

Anyway, stay warm and best wishes with your MG!
