It has been a long time since I last owned a Triumph- 1967, and a really beat '59 TR3A that got me through College and was run to ground when I bought it. Everything went wrong that could go wrong, yet I still loved it. Kind of like the car you hated when you had it, but wish with all your heart you had it back- although I did not hate it, after a while I just could not keep repairing my only means of transportation and traded it for a '63 Pontiac. Now, at 67 years old, I am hoping to find a "sleeper" in the coming months and relive those carefree moments of my youth. After all, why not?.

Indeed, it's a common "disease" around here. Welcome to the asylum!
It's funny though, how well we remember the good stuff and how easily we forget the bad stuff. There are some scenes I would rather not repeat, like being parked halfway onto a sidewalk at Purdue, trying to force the shift linkage back together on my similarly decrepit (but some 9 years older) TR3A.
