I just signed on yesterday, and I wanted to say hello.
I jumped into the British car world with 74 MGB last year. It was almost ready for the bone yard, but I think it's worth saving. It'll be a long road though. I'm glad I found this forum. I'll be needing all the help I can get!

Welcome! You'll find this place is an indespensible resource and besides that, I have met some really excellent people on this forum. I can't hardly imagine how my dad used to do it in the days before "the internets" (maybe that's why he could never get my mom's Midget running proper /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) Networking is a wonderful thing!

Welcome to the forum. I, too, have a 74B (bet you couldn't tell by the handle) built in December of 1973. Mine is mostly original, except for the alternator, carpet and soon to be leather seats, so ask away...I never hesitiate to add my two cents and there are lots of experience people here. Welcome aboard. I just signed on to this site a week ago and have been enjoying it very much. This is a great group of folks. Western P.A is a good place to be with a Brit. car, what with "The Roadster Factory" just down the road, and all kinds of twisties waiting to be found. Enjoy

I'm looking to getting the car back on road again, and I've already found this site to be a great help in making that happen.

Thanks for the welcome note. This site has already been a big help in getting my restoration project on track. I bought the car last year. It's an early 74 (chrome bumper). Lots of rust in the ususal places. I'm pretty much starting from the ground up.

Thanks for the welcome. I've always wanted an MG, even since they were still considered new. But, time and money always held me back. I've finally decided to jump into the fray so to speak. I'm really looking forward to putting the old 74 back on the road.

welcome wanna b, i too am fairly new to this forum, i bought a 76 b last april and i've received a lot of help from these wonderful folks. i also just bought 2 big healeys that are real basket cases and won't dare do a thing without their advice. good luck
