Hi!

I am glad to be a part of the BCF.

While I drive a 2000 XJR for my main wheels, I am in the process of restoring my 66 XKE, the car that started my love affair with British iron. I thought I'd get "on board" the group here so I could share stories about it.

I drove my E for years in the 70's, and then parked it for what amounted to about 25 years. One day it dawned on me that if I didn't get the thing running soon, I may not be able to get into it.

So ... the body is being welded up, only a few panels were needed. The rear suspension was dropped out, so that is the mechanical part being done right now.

It can only be uphill from here.........

A great! Another EType type! Welcome to our humble forum (I own the place)! I have a 67 EType OTS that I'm restoring. I've owned it for over 25 years. Post a picture or two in our Jaguar Gallery sub-forum (and also in our main "Members' Pictures" gallery (link to that is in the Member Links box on left or under the Member Links drop down above).
