Hi...I wandered over here from the Healey board...I'm a Healey owner...and because there seems to be so much more going on at this board I thought I'd drop in and say hello...in fact I've been sneaking over here more and more...lot's of you are almost as crazy as I am...in fact some of your threads are almost impossible to follow...Chuck and Gary have their own langauge...there are few more...but they seem to standout...

My wife calls me a "pot stir'er"...my motto has always been..."if you can't say something nice...say it anyway...because someone will enjoy it anyway"...

Anyway...just stopped by to say hi...in case some of you don't go over to the Healey board and read our threads...I'm sort of a MG fan...in that I love the old MG-TD's...I went onto the "members gallery" and was disappointed not to see more photos of this old classic...

Don't be shy...come visit us when you get a chance...we'll leave a light in the window...

Hi there Henri, as a regular trespasser on the Healey forum may I be the first to welcome your reciprocal visit to the dark side, aka the MG forum. I enjoy your posts, and yes you are a stirrer (are you sure you are not an Brit? That dry sense of humour gives you away). Any road up, I find myself in total agreement with you, MG owners have much to contribute to other forums, as do Healey owners. Heck, I post messages on every forum. Social butterfly, remember?

Hi Steve, my name as Chuck and I am a MG-ophile. I guess we need a 12 step program especially Gary and me. IF you think this is bad you should read our emails. MG people are just fun people. Although I've never met him, I've known Gary for about three years now, and Kim, who I have met in person, for about two. Tony for longer than both. We also appear nitely on another unnamed bbs. MG people just have more fun, but you all are welcome to join in any time.

Welcome to MG dom Henri I am working on medication that Gary and chuck can take three times daily to temper their posts but am afraid that they cannot be trusted to take it as prescribed ah well back to thinking

henri,
yes, welcome to the "MG" side of things.
bunch of good folks here. we have a good time and learn from one another. at least our cars are more dependable and affordable. just joking!
(that coming from a guy who spends more on his jags than on new clothing)

The sign of a sick mind: I see nothing wrong with XJRPilot's assertion that he spends more on his Jags than on new clothing. I would have been surprised and not a little confused had it been any other way.

Henri:

When you think of *your* car, think: "AHHHHHH!"

When you think of cars on this forum, think: "Mighty Good!"

By the way, I was at the Statue of Liberty the other day....and there's an inscription on the base.....it says:

"Send us your weak..

..your hungry..

..your oppressed..

But for God's sake, whatever else you do, send us more MGs!"

That's true!....I swear!

steve,
yup, if given the choice between a new pack of underdraws or an un-needed tune up for my british cars, i'll take the tune ups. heck, i can go for broke and say, a kidney for a new jaguar S-type R. only one kidney, i need the other one.

You have to miff them some...or ask a really good question...or a real stupid one...oh I don't know..I wonder the same thing...that's why I visited the MG board...I think some of the Healey people think that unless there is a tech question...the conversation is irrelevant...I'm gropping here...because I still don't understand...there are a couple of regulars that participate...keep trying...is all I can say...
