I am a new member - just saying hello. In college I helped restore MC-TC & TDs. My first Jaguar purchase was a 1968 E-Type FHC purchased when I started work at Hughes Aircraft in Culver City (Los Angeles). I had just gotten out of USAF and missed flying (I started when I was 14 working as a gasboy and learning on Piper J-3s & did not thing I would fly again since they hired me as an electrical engineer. After 6 months I was transferred into Human Factors and Flight Test and worked on various aircraft - F-14, F-15, Viggen, A-7 & helicopters. Also was attending USC Grad School under fellowship. Left Hughes to be a Professor at Purdue University. Did not last long (politics again) and went to American Airlines as B-707 instructor, then B-727 Flight Engineer then pilot. Md-80 Captain and Check Airman then to first B-767 International Captain class. Started flying to Manchester, England. Could not rent decent car (in the 1980s) so I purchased a 1967 Jaguar 420 in pieces near London & trailed it to Stockport for re-assembly. Drove it about 35,000 miles through UK & Continent. Started a small restoration business in US and sending cars to England. Accumulated small collection of British cars- almost all Jaguars. Had a serious accident in early 1990s nd most of my cars were damaged by vandals. Slowly rebuilding cars but progress is slowed by my "serious" brain injury (making it difficult to remember things) and working as a therapist with brain injury/PTSD (I returned to Grad & Medical schools to help others following my injury). Now trying to restore previous concourse cars damaged & recover some of destroyed cars.
Probably will ask many questions of the experts on this forum. I appreciate any comments. Please feel free to tell me if there is any way I can help others affected by brain injury/PTSD - I am a highly experienced therapist in those areas and work free of charge all over the world. Best of luck to all. Take care.

PS I have included some photos of cars as they are.
