Its been a while since I posted on here. I have had too much going on for the past year or so to get really involved in spridgets. I still have my 71 and drive it every now and then. I have just now started back on my other spridget project. Its the 77 that is going to have the bugeye front on it. I did quite a bit of welding and other work on the bugeye bonnet today. I am starting to get back into this again. I hope everyone has been doing well. Kim

Hi Kim. I just ran into Jack Orkin (nice yellow 1974 midget) from Georgia. He was in Louisville and entered his car in our local car show (though it was basically a rain out). Since the last time you were on here I acquired a "free" 1976 Midget. It is getting debumpered and swapped over to an A-series. Like you I haven't had much time to work on it, but it is progressing.

Kim,

Glad to hear you are back.

Welcome back!

Ditto the above, Kim. Gotta have some play time now and then...like with spridget's.

Kurt.

WB Kim..just got back into it myself recently..and oh what fun it has been!

Hey Kim, I was just recalling the other day the time we spent with you at the pool by Siebkens.
Glad you're still here!

Hi Kim, It was just this week that I was wondering if you ever fixed up the BE bonnet you dove down here to get from me. You are still welcome in Oriental any time you can get here. Show us some pictures of your progress. Charlie

I did some cutting an welding in of some patches on the bugeye nose. I bought this little spot sand blaster to use on some other rusty spots and then I am going to do the bodywork on it and get a good coat of primer on and try and fit the the front to the body. The radiator was hitting last time I fitted it. Some one had put a 1275 radiator in the 1500 and its got pipes brazed out the top and all kinds of stuff. I need to find a used 1500 radiator or else buy a new one.

I think I have a radiator for you! Slightly used, but looks almost new.

Someone said that there were two different radiators for a 1500, but I'll snap a picture and you can compare. All I know about it is that it was in a '76, the car ran (barely), the radiator didn't leak, and the radiator looks like it was a recent replacement.

I may need parts, but at this moment the radiator is yours for the cost of shipping.

Here is the picture.
