I was lucky to find a one owner, all original, TD a few years ago. Great car!

Hello Tom, I have always been into cars and bikes and although I drive modern cars as daily drivers I prefer older vehicles when driving for pleasure. Previous to this I had a mk1 mx5 ( or miata as you call them over your side of the pond ) Which was a great fun little car but still had air bags, abs and power steering which all seemed a bit modern to me. Then I seriously looked at MGA's and although they are fantastic looking cars ( and one day I might get one to add to my collection ) it just wasn't what I wanted at this time, my brother has a early MGTF ( 54 I think ) so I decided to go and have a look at some TF's but as I walked into the garage there was this stunning looking MG that looked like my brothers TF but had a more upright grill and chrome headlights along with this it had undergone a ground up restoration and was in lovely condition.. I never did look at the other cars, just purchased the TD there and then. Only had it a few weeks, but love it and know I made the right decision.

Steve - is it just coincidence that I see a "T" on the trunk of the tree at the left?

We had a similar MGA connection. When I retired from university, I went looking for an MGA. Never found one I could afford, except for rust buckets with wrecked engines. So I loosened my requirements a bit, enjoyed some other "old iron", and after 15 years finally ended up with this TD.
