Greetings all,
I've been playing with little British cars for about 20 years now. My workshop currently houses a 1975 Spitfire, a 1980 TR8 and the new edition, a 1959 Sprite. The Spitfire has been pretty much rebuilt nose to tail with too many upgrades to mention here, the '8' is a well sorted driver with the factory aircon just repaired and has a Holley 390 carb on top of an Edelbrock intake and sports original Poseidon Green paint with a newly replaced golden tan plaid interior.
The Sprite just came home 2 weeks ago and is this winter's project. I just had the mighty 948cc rebuilt, so that's currently out of the car along with the transmission. The car sat in an actual barn for an indeterminate number of decades, but it has just under 21,000 miles on the odometer and appears to be, with the exception of the seats and carpet in lieu of mats, all original down to the paint. Here is a picture of all three beasties in my workshop:

Thank you so much for the welcome. We just bought the property last November, so I'm still getting things set up. Still have a lot of work to do in the shop to get it where I want, but it sure beats the small garage I had previously. I still have room for a few more toys.

Hello jholmgren

Welcome to the forum.

Nice shop with plenty of space to work.

The Triumph section is very active so you are sur to get plenty of tips and advice for your Triumphs and the Spridget section will be able to help you with the Sprite.

The Pub is an area where almost anything comes up for discussion.

Thanks for the welcome! I spend a decent amount of time in the Lancaster area. We have family over there.
A great friend of mine in Lancaster actually just helped me 'recommission' the AC on my TR8. He has a Spit and a Jag XJS.

Happy to have you aboard, J. That's a nice little collection you have there! Like JP, I'm a bit envious of your work shop! Nice!

By the way, be sure to tell your friend with the Spit and the Jag to come join us (if he's not already here).
