Just a quick introduction of myself. I'm David Hesse and I live in Portage WI. I've been playing with British cars most of my life. Currently I own a 73 HProd MG Midget that I race in Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs, a 84 Mini that is caged with Fortech Flares for GTL (still in construction), a 55 Healey 100/4 that I've just inherited from my father that needs complete restoration, and I'm picking up a 67 Austin Cooper S that needs restoration. Plenty to keep me busy this coming winter.

My wife adds a 35 Ford 5 Window Coupe street rod to the collection and her son adds a 48 Ford Business Coupe.

I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions for the Healey restoration. As well as looking for and selling of some parts for Spridgets, Minis, Healeys, and such.

Have a great day and I look forward to talking with many of you in the future.

Welcome to the monkey house, David, from a fellow H Prod racer.('62 Sprite, 948) I enjoy Blackhawk, although I haven't been over in awhile. Do most of mine here at Waterford Hills.
You'll find we are a friendly bunch, with a collective good sense of humor, and there's a wealth of knowledge and experience here.
Enjoy!
Jeff

Welcome - would love to see photos of the avatar Midget.

Tony, I tried uploading a couple of pics of my Avatar Midget for you. I've got some learning to do for this site on how some things work.

Saw 'em - wheel well & engine compartment...I like how you used that radiator overflow tank for a cdatch tank!

I may have to paint the engine compartment of my '68 MGB GT that I'm slowly building as a historic racecar silver.

Dave:

Welcome form another Spridget racer (and lifetime Brit-car nut).
I race in the Eastern Motor Racing Association and I know a few of our guys have run Midwest Council events. My pal, Harry Schneider (blue F-Vee #20) ran a couple of your events last year.
We've still got lots of racing events left for '07 (I'm going to Pocono tomorrow for a two-hour enduro).
Looking forward to hearing about your cars.
