Hello from the south of england.

I got my Mgb GT about 6 months ago for my 18th birthday, it has a few teething problems as expected but I love it.

Here are a couple of pictures of it:

Nice car!

I forget that there are RHD rubber-bumper cars....I always think of the rubber bumper cars as North America only.

And it's interesting to see two carbs on one of the later cars. All our rubber bumper cars here have a single carb.

Have Fun and G'luck with it! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the welcome guys /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

I think MG's that went across the pond had one carb to limit the power or emissions, probably both!

Welcome from me as well. Nice to see an engine compartment that's free from all the emissions equipment. Looks like you have copper brake pipes installed as well. I wish we could do that here, but they are not considered "safe".

Early '74 & '74-1/2 rubber bumper cars in the US had dual HIF-4's.
