Greetings from Gordonsville, VA and hello to All,
I just wanted to introduce myself. Now that winter is rolling in I'm back on the restoration of my '57 MGA Roadster, Agnes. Christmas Eve is not only a great time to sip an eggnog with brandy, it's also a great time to wirebrush rust out of the boot of your 48 year old car. The restoration's been going slowly as I'm new to central Va and there is so much to do here - like riding thru the mountains with my SO on our pair of Speed Triples. Agnes is going to be a vintage racer (SVRA) someday and still be used on the street. Her previous owner started the work and then found an MGA all ready to race so he purchased it and I purchased many large boxes of new and used parts. The car, except for the rolling chassis and body shell, came home in the back of my Tahoe. It took many evenings to sort it all out. Anyway, most of the dirty work is behind me and I hope to get the car off for paint soon.
