Hello,

I have to credit Volvo for really keeping me engaged in playing with cars (just rebuilt a 67' 122s a couple years ago).

I've got a list of cars I've owned line than many (27+) which being married also means I have a VERY understanding wife (also might be into motorcycles and sailboats 😬)

I'll give credit to Land Rover for dragging me into the British side of things having owned 4 with two being Range Rover classics... One of which I still own.

Turns out although the '67 Volvo is very useable and practical I still have wanted to add a small roadster to the fold for some time. Enter a non-running, been garaged for 12+ yrs '59 TR3 😀... That turns out to have a completely seized engine from being put away with only water in the radiator 🤦

Anyway, I'll have a bit of a rebuild and some brake work before hitting the road. So... Here I am 😆

great cars - welcome, lovely Triumph but I sure wouldn't kick that Volvo out of my garage!

I've got to stay under my maximum car allowance... 3 for me, one for my wife. 😂 I haven't brought myself to list it yet. It's definitely a clean straight example.

I have a good friend who maintains that three is just cars but four is a collection. :D

Welcome to the forum. Your TR3 looks nice and clean. It should be great fun once you get it running again!
I played with old Volvos for decades and still have a bunch of 122S parts, mostly IPD suspension stuff, some Bilstein shocks and a few other things, though your car looks like it probably has already been set up. I’ve also got an overdrive transmission out of a P1800 for sale if you’re interested.

Ohh... Tempting. But I'd be happy to connect and meet know others interested. Small community.
