Hello,
My husband and I just purchased a 1967 Austin FX4 taxi cab and this is our first vintage car. My family has two 1970's Plymouth muscle cars, so I have been exposed to some restoration and have dabbled with a wrench over the years. The taxi is in pretty rough shape, however, we purchased it for the experience and fun of seeing what we can accomplish together with help from our families.
The research I have done so far for the FX4 Austin Diesel has only added to the excitement that I feel towards the potential of the vehicle. Our ultimate goal is to keep her running and in good shape, as of this writing she in too much of rough a shape to ever become a true show piece. I look forward to getting to know other people on the forum and seeing what tricks and tips I can gleam from those have been in this position before me. Blessings, Kristine Booth AKA Cabbie
