Hello from Northern VA). I recently sold my hobby for the last 11 years. Close to 100K miles on my factory ordered Porsche. It was approaching the point that anything breaking will cost really big bucks to repair. Retiring last year and wanted a car I could realistically do basic maintenance and learn to do some more involved projects. I’ve always liked the TR6 so I decided to find one within my specific budget without issues before diving in, hoped to drive it for a year, learning the car, developing my limitations on what I feel I can do. That didn’t last long, since my three-week new to me 75 TR6 is in the shop for Differential seals. I did get a comprehensive checkup on the car with everything coded red, yellow, green depending on the severity of what needs attention. My current focus is learning what I can about the mechanics and technical side.
