I am a high school automotive/metalwork teacher/instructor. We were donated an 1963 Spitfire MK1 with a ton of new body panels, parts, engine, OD transmission. We are currently pulling off the body, bracing it from twisting and putting body and frame on rotisseries to start transforming it into what it needs to be. The black ford was our last project and it was used to tow the spitfire to the shop. we do all our own paint, body, mechanical, upholstery work.

That's great! Please do post your progress on both cars! Several years ago we had another auto shop instructor in an all girls school. They were restoring a Bigeye and I must say they did a fantastic job! As I recall, they auctioned the car off and made a pretty good sum after it was completed.

Today is last day for project work with the students but was able to build our body rotisserie in time
