I see from my profile that I am described as 'still lurking'. I'll probably do some of that, along with asking a few questions and answering the few that I can.

I've had a '77 for a while, and recently acquired a restorable '65 with the intention of transferring some parts, but after looking at it for a while I'm not so sure ......

Most of you probably know what that is like. I still haven't made up my mind on that one.

Yep - my step-grandfather stepfather came from there...had an step-uncle who lived near Ft. Leonardwood (his widow & children still do)

Where are you in relation to St. Joseph's MO? My chief fabricator/body man moved there last year and has one of the most gorgeous MGBs you've ever seen done in black with the sebring valence, de-chromed and handled, and custom headlight covers. It's like looking in a mirror! Ok, he's a perfectionist. He hand blocked my last Midget racecar 3 times before I made him quit and paint it.

We'd stop for a visit when we're in the area to check out your toys.
