Hello folks, I just wanted to say hi and I am going to post a question about my size. I am 6'3, 215pds and just have always wanted a classic British sports car. I hope I can pull the trigger soon. I have sat in a TR4, and could not fit. I have sat in a TR6, and could barely squeeze in, but knee was still into steering wheel. I sat in a MGB, and it was slightly better. Is there a car out there I am missing? One that is perfect for us taller guys? Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Welcome, Jeff, from Middle Tenn.!

As you've already discovered, your choices are limited. Smaller steering wheels can help.

You also may want to check out a Jensen Healey or a TR7/8. I know - not "classic", but they are interesting alternatives.

Good luck in your search!

Hi Jeff,

Pending how much $$$ you have; You may just want to look at an "E-Type".

You may also "Try on For Size" a Spitfire or go way over to the dark side & check out an "Alfa Romeo Spider". Not British but roomy.

Have Fun Shopping,

Russ

Welcome! Try the big Healeys and the Jensen. :savewave:
