Welcome to BCF.
Wow, converting from left to right hand drive. Now *that* would have been quite a project.
How'd you get interested in little British cars?
Here's our MG area when you're ready to get your hands dirty:

I did not do the conversion to RHD, but I knew this must have been a US model due to the three wiper's and the U in the serial number, I have been building a new fresh engine and a gearbox with over drive and as luck would have it the thrust bearing for the cluch just went so I have just pulled out the old engine and gearbox, good learning process at the moment. I found a good engine block which turned out to be a gold seal engine, it still had standard size pistons, these new ones are 20 thou over. Many thanks for the welcome from everyone.Welcome to BCF.

Oops I did not answer your question NutmegCT, I have always had an interest and love of British cars from a very early age, my father was big fan, I also restore and own British classic motorcycles, including BSA, Truimph and Nortons, this MGB is my first and really enjoying it, I will keep you all posted when I move it along some more. I just completed an overhaul of the steering column and found a very good inexpensive top bearing that I think is better than factory, not much to make fit and happy to share if any one is interested.Welcome to BCF.
