Hi everyone - really pleased to be part of this forum. I have got a 1969 MGB Roadster MK II.
I have wanted one of these since I was about 8 and finally got one on my 60th birthday. I am really enjoying restoring it and learning new skills

Bob - welcome to BCF. My first "retirement hobby" was my 1974 MGB. Started me on the road to learning the ropes (and watching the bank account decline!).

What first got you interested in a B many years ago?

I was stationed at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire back in 1962. That is when I bought my Sprite that is in my garage in Ohio now.

Thanks for the welcome - I know just what you know about the bank account! - Still you can't take it with you and it does give so much pleasure. My first memory of the MGB was when one of our neighbours son's bought a new one - would have been early 70's. - wanted one ever since.

Greetings from the other side of the pond! Here in New Jersey I'm planning a short, lube-up-the-bearing run in 20F cold. Just to be able to say, "Yes, I am nuts!. Anyway, from 2 '62 Mkll "A"'s in 1968, to our 4th B in 2022 and the fun really doesn't stop. FYI, the first "A" was purchased in 1968 for $1200.00 !!!
