Good morning Folks, I saw my first Spitfire as a kid in the mid-seventies and was in awe of the little beast! Skip forward a few years, and I find myself in my fifties - kids grown, a couple dollars left at the end of the month, and no need to haul anyone but my lovely wife when I take a ride. Last fall, we purchased a pretty solid '77 Spitfire! Needs paint, got some engine issues (but I've got a spare). Already a pain in my butt, though I'm sure you all understand the unavoidable Grin that spreads as soon as I climb in the cockpit! My first LBC, but I've got years of wrenching experience. I'll be happy to help out if/when I can, but I'll definitely be picking the brains of some of y'all! Thanks for having me!
