Hello Everyone,

I’m pleased to recently join the forum and share a bit about myself/my car in the new members area.

Thought I would say hello in here too.

I shared a website link in the intro although it’s more for the interest of TR owners. I recently completed a new bracket to simply lift the steering wheel a little and it led to making a small run of these available to buy should you wish to do the same.

Otherwise hope the images are interesting and keen to hear any thoughts.

I look forward to being part of the forum.

Cheers,
Bauly

See ya

The stock mount is adjustable, and the dash limits the height you can get. How does this differ?

Thanks, John,

The bracket lifts the column/steering wheel vertically (the bracket itself is taller), rather than the stock adjustability which is in the 'in/out' direction.

I think Stacy (the gentleman in the review) saw approx an inch height rise without any adjustment to his dash (a Roadster Factory item).

I relieved approx 3-4mm only from my own dash to make the height change (it's ultimately limited by the metal fascia behind the wooden dash).

I'm average build and height yet I wanted to be less jammed in by the steering wheel - best change I've done to my car for driving.

Kind Regards

Toby

Are you getting your comments on your Youtube channel, Toby? I posted one twice, and then it seems to disappear.

Hi Ed,

I seem to be getting them ok (at least on Episode 1) I googled a bit and seems now and again comments take a while to be posted.

Thanks for commenting!

Here's the link for anyone that missed it, hope you enjoy the vids.

Hi everyone,

An update from me with Episode 5, which I hope you enjoy.

A quick run around Dubai in the TR6!

Hope you enjoy the video (best viewed on a big screen!) and wishing you all a great Sunday.

(note to britishcarforum moderators - do let me know if a better place to post these rather than in this thread?)

Kind Regards

Toby

Hi All,

This weeks update as Episode 6 for your enjoyment!

Work starts on the TR4A disassembly (and engine start up), and finding quite a big area of rust in the bodyshell (has anyone done this repair recently??!!). The 2-post lift also turns up to complete the shop.

Kind Regards

Toby

Toby - this is an excellent series - and a good intro for new BCF owners on what they might expect.
