Hello all!
My first car was a 1972 MG Midget and now that I'm 50 and my daughter is approaching driving age I'm in the market for another MG... I'm looking for a 1966-67 MGB (the Midgets are just TOO small!!) as a daddy/daughter restoration project... I see that I'm going to have to be a bit patient in my search to find the right car but I have time as she's only 11 now. I figured a good five year project would result in a solid, sound car for her to enjoy. If anyone has any leads in the Southeast, do let me know!!

Welcome aboard BT! That would be a terrific Dad?Daughter project! Good luck in your hunt!

Hi Bluetickhound,

Welcome to the best resource for info on LBC's. Good luck with the search, but knowing the abilities of bluetick hounds, as I have owned two over the years, you should be very successful. Be sure to check in with the MG group here as well, and enjoy the ride.

Welcome indeed! was at a cruise night last night and a fellow looked at my car and exclaimed "they were so much bigger when I was young!" best line of the night! We were in Decatur last weekend - love Atlanta!

That's kinda what Inwas thinking... I have to find the right car first though... I have seen a ton of early 70's and '68's for sale but I really want a '66 (birth year) or '67... If time becomes an issue I'll do what I gotta do... If I were going to do an early '70's I know where two '73 models are right now. One is essentially rust free, actually has dealer installed A/C (which I'm pretty sure I don't want to have to fool with!!) and a factory hardtop for under $3000. The other is more of a project but has wire wheels and can be had for $695... Neither has O/D and I really want that.
