Hello from a returning TR3A owner in Oklahoma

I bought my first 1959 TR3A when I was in college in 1978. Flash forward to 1984 I sold it when my wife was about to have our second child. We were fairly new homeowners and we need the cash. This month after my wife finding a green version of my old car I became a TR3A owner once more with a 1960 Tr3A. Life is better with a Triumph in the garage!

I'm in complete agreement.
I bot my 1st '59 TR3A in 1963 for use as a 2nd car. We were raising 3 daughters.
They sat in the jump seat with the eldest in the middle (she had the longest legs).
We had a lot of family fun in that car.
When her legs, extending between the front bucket seats, began to hinder my shifting,
we sold it.
Fast forward to 2012 (61 years later)
I bot my 2nd '59 TR3A: 1) because of the good memories, 2) to get my hands dirty doing a frame-up restoration & 3) the fun of driving it.
 
My first Tr3A had overdrive and came with the Hardtop and soft top. The 60 came with no top or side curtains. I found the side curtains, bought a Top from Robbins and now I'm on the hunt for a hardtop. Wish me luck!
