Good Morning: I am a newbi to this forum and it seems you guys are much to sophisticated and knowledgeable for my question. But, I'll give it a try. I LOVE Jaguars and just sold my old 1995 Vadan Plas. I am looking to get another newer version since I can't afford the vintage ones. I was looking at a 2002. BUT, everyone keeps telling me not to ever buy because FORD engines are in them. Can someone PLEASE tell me exactly what years have FORD engines and/or parts installed???? Hat years have tensors and/or electrical problems??? I really appreciate any help you can give.

Hi, Meri, and welcome!

Post your question over in the Jaguar section, and I'm sure you'll get some responses.

Hello and welcome to BCF..... One thing i have learned in life! Never buy what you really dont want! You may as well be eating a dirt sandwich! You will never be happy! And that is what ownership of these british cars are all about! Better to wait and save the money for what you really want. After all these vintage cars are investments as well, And if you buy well... you always get your money back and then some! Buying a newer Jag, Your money will never come back to you! In any case, Welcome to BCf and post your questions on the jag forum... You will get much help there. :yesnod:
