I can't believe it took me this long to find this forum, I've been on the internet since Al invented it! So I have a 77 Midget BRG and it was my brothers since the late 80's. He was moving to Columbus Ohio and blew a head gasket and needed to park it at our parents house. several months later in a phone conversation my dad told me if my brother doesn't get that car out of the yard hes going to stick a 4sale sign on it. So after the shock wore off that it was stored outside for the first time in its life and some arm twisting with my bro I was the new owner. I then realized that I now needed to get it from Ohio to Texas, wow is it expensive! At a scout meeting one of the other fathers said "Don't your parents live in Ohio?", if you can get that car to Sharonville this Tuesday I have a simi that only has one thing in it and that MG will fit no problem. So a call to AAA and a flat tow to Sharonville got it down here for free! well less the AAA membership.

Welcome to the party! Great ending (beginning?) to the story of your acquisition.

There are a bunch of good folks over on the Spridget side; be sure to pop in and let 'em know you're here.

Mickey

Welcome!

Great story! Lots of Spridget folks here.

Don't forget that if you have a comment or question about your car, post it in the "Spridgets" section and not in the "MG" section.
We reserve the "MG" section for MGBs, TDs, MGAs and so forth.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!!

Thanks for the welcome! I am in Austin, I'll change the entry to clear it up.

I was born up north but knew enough to high tail it south as soon as I could!
