Hi everyone. First post to this forum but have been active on another MG forum for a few years. I am a seasoned citizen (retired) fairly new to MG's even though I had one back in the late sixties. Many years of motorcycles and modern cars came after the first MG. Currently engaged in mechanical refurb of my 1974.5 MGB roadster. The might as well bug has me wondering what I got myself into. My car is blown apart and I am learning lots not the least of which is how much I don't know and how difficult it is to lay on a cold concrete floor. Looking forward to more advice on how to go about all the work ahead of me and seeing what all of you have done to your cars. Living in southern Oregon and weather mostly precludes use of my topless roadster till spring so lots of time to complete the chores ahead of me. Robert
 
Hey Robert - welcome to BCF!

My first was a rubber bumper MGB, and from there the disease spread. Originally wanted an MGA, but never found one I could afford (that wasn't in pieces). Now enjoying my 1958 Rambler.

I like your description: "seasoned citizen"!

Welcome! Doug here,in Eureka,CA.I have a '67 GT.
There's a British car club,based in Medford.
We also put on an import car show here in Eureka,
on June 10,2017,at the Woodley Island Marina,on the grass,
& the entry fee is only $10,which includes lunch.We'd love to
get more people from out of the area.

If you look in our "Forum Navigation Help" forum, there is a "sub-forum" called Video Tutorials. Here you will find lots of videos on how to do various things here. Here is the one for posting pictures
