Hi all,
My names Greg, I recently bought a 'rough' '68 MGB GT, and have been combing the internet trying to soak up as much info as I can, as I prepare to (try to) restore this car. I recognize some people from other places, and many new people, so Hello!

Welcome Greg! Just remember, patience and perseverance will win every time. Something these little cars will test during restoration at times. You are joining a wonderful group of people who have the same interests and are always willing to go out of their way to help. There's more years of knowledge on this site than I'd care to count. Some of us have been branded a little crazy, (not me of course), for loving these little British cars and excepting the dirty hands, skinned knuckles, empty wallets and along with that, the rephrasing of the English language with peculiar words that come from nowhere. :jester:
Keep us posted on your car. We also love photos, so please show us your car. PJ

Hi Greg, and welcome to the Forum. :savewave:

What HE said!

I have the good fortune of working in the auto industry at a place that restores vintage Ferraris and other exotic cars. I've worked as a mechanic for a few years now, but with little restoration/vintage experience I figure a project like the GT is a good jumping off point to get some experience that my employers may be reluctant to give.

Everyone here seems great so far, I'll post pictures soon in another thread in the MG board. Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!

mehheh... Ferrutzi are glorified Fiats, Greg. Laid hands on plenty of 'em.

Jus' keep in mind they ALL do th' same "squish, bang, fart, inhale".

Attention to detail is th' big factor.

Howdy Greg,

"Welcome" from the Upstate, SC area.

Best Wishes with your Spit Resto.

Post some pics; Why don`t ya!

Regards, Russ
