Hello all

Stopped by school on the way back form the doctor. Long story short, the job I wanted there 15 years ago just opened up. My old boss and co-worker are gonna check into it for me. No idea if they can make anything happen but if I get the job I can go back to school for free. I'd say there is about a 20% chance it'll happen...which is a lot better than the 0% it was when I woke up this morning. :encouragement:

Best of luck, Billy!

A good friend of mine like's to say that he is only one lottery ticket away from being as good as any man!:highly_amused:

Course he doesn't buy lottery tickets!

Kurt.

Grundy, I look forward to a meet up. You are great to be around. We always have fun. We need to meet at the boiled peanut wagon on 11.

Will do my friend. The fudge on top of 276 is worth the drive.
Edit: I have a new toy I think you would like.
2103 Fiat 500 Abarth
I have modded it a wee bit. Now sports over 200 hp and Koni shocks among other bits.
It is insane on mountain hill climbs.

Good to see you back, Kim!

I watched a good friend get his bachelors while working full time and raising 3 little boys. I earned a whole new respect for those who go back to school later in life while juggling everything else.

I'm back with another Bugeye, this time a full restoration on a RHD Bugeye named Penny.
Oh that is awsome. It's been years since I drove a right hand drive car on the "correct" side of the road in England. That has got to be an eye catcher. At some point I need to get back on my white Midget with the bugeye nose that I got from Charlie down at teh east coast of NC. I have all the metal work done on the car and the bonnet. Just still have a lot to do.

Kim

Kurt.

These positions only come open once, maybe twice a lifetime. I was next in line when I had to leave and it got filled by the guy that is gone now. The fact it's open and I showed up at the right time and my inside guys may be able to do something is huge. I say 20% because I don't know if someone else has been earmarked or not or the criteria that will need to be met. I'm happy just to ever have hope for it again. I've wanted it for 15 years.

Good luck, we're puling for you!
