Was just leaving to go to a car show, and now the thing('67 B) won't start.
I cranked it over a couple times, stopped. Then went to crank it again, and it clicked. No turning over, just clicking.
The little thing next to the coil, that the battery cable connects into just clicks when I turn the ignition.
What's wrong???!!!!

Make sure your battery connections are clean and tight!

Yep, sounds like a dead battery. Like Basil said, need to check the battery cables before you buy the new Die Hard.

Hello Jordanb,

It could also be:-
A faulty solenoid.
A loose earth connection between the engine and the chassis\body.
A defective starter motor (brushes worn out?)
A jammed starter.

By the way, isn't the English language tiresome, as Tyres are spelt with a y.

And don't neglect the connections going to the starter and/or the ground strap going to the engine/starter - those are all located between the two front tyres.

Sounds to me like a starter motor, have you tried putting it in top gear and rocking back and forth and then try starting again ???

I tried rocking it in gear, nothing.
Tried to push start and pop the clutch, nothing. I did it alone so I couldn't get up a good speed, but I did manage to turn the engine some.
Thins afternoon I'm going to check the battery.

Thanks for the help.
