Heater/Ventilation Controls on a 3000

We've got a BJ7, and turns out that (1) memory is bad (and gotten worse) (2) thought I had an owners manual copy (and don't) (3) printing is worn off around the pullout knobs (4) and figured I'd ask guidance from experts rather than mucking about trying to figure which did what. So, there's:
- a left side pull out knob
- a horizontal sliding bar
- the knob on the horizontal slider pulls out to turn the heater fan on (and vice versa)
- there's a pull out knob on the right side
I had a quick look underneath and didn't notice any open/close/adjustable flaps but will have a better look this evening when the disparity between light and shadow is less. Thanks, Doug

Re: which heater/ventilation control do what on a 3000?

Knobs: left - "PULL" - attached to long fresh air cable; right - "PUSH" - short cable to butterfly at right side of heater - where hose from blower enters heater box. Center slider operates short, flexible cable to heater valve.

All the white labelling is gone; am I correct in assuming that moving the slider to the driver's side turns the hot water valve off? Thanks, Doug

Thanks Steve; Thanks Derek. Doug
