Has anyone done anything to upgrade their heater for their TR6? Looking for higher temps and more volume. Planning on using my car as a daily driver year around and on dry days in the winter here in Ohio where it can get fairly cold. Won't drive it in the snow or on extremely cold days I'll take the truck or the wife's Volvo. I'll do more insulation in the floor and side panels and maybe look for a hard top too. Have a neighbor that swaps out his soft top for a hard top in those colder days but he does store it the winter.

Ya thanks I saw that. Like you said it's pricey plus shipping and import fees probably be close to $1,000. Too rich for me.

With the hardtop on my 6, it is quite cosy with the heat on. Stock heater...

Cheers

They make 12 volt heaters for auto's and utv's passenger compartments.

Great Idea Yoda! Now will the alternator handle the load? I wont be running much electrical equipment just a radio and headlights. anyone have one installed?

Apologies if I'm saying something you're already aware of, but the heater doesn't put out much heat in the recirculation mode. You need the cowl vent open (dash vents closed) to get good heat.
