Hello everyone- I am a new member (just joined last week) and I am hopeing someone can answer my question. In the next couple of weeks I will be installing a complete interior and top to FINALLY finish my '73 TR6. I am in the process of making sure everything is hooked up in the cockpit before the interior goes in. So, here's my question:
When using cabin heat does the heat ONLY come out of the very bottom of the blower unit (by the flap valve) and not at the 4 eyeball registers? I am getting heat, but only from the bottom of the blower unit. Since I've never driven any TR6 (yet!) I don't know where the heat should be pouring out from. Thanks for your help.

Another PA guy, I see. I was raised in western PA. Great people and culture.

Welcome to the forum. If you close off the two vents at your knees under the dash and pull the knob out all of the way, it will come out of the fresh air vents. But if the air outside is too cold, it will overtake the warm air.

I don't know if my web site will help you or not, but maybe the carpet installation section will save you some grief.

https://www.74tr6.com/carpetreplacement.htm

Check it out. Maybe you'll find some info of use to you, maybe not.

Good luck..............

Hi Paul-
