Heater Knob/Control Switch for BE

Rut, I've seen that--it has been listed for a long time. I have a problem with it though--none of the catalogs--Moss, VB, AH Spares--show anything like it as an NLA part. The bezel also does not look right. My guess is that it is actually off of some other British car, a Morris or something else.

Apbos--there isn't actually anything wrong with the cable, other than the switch doesn't work--I would just like to eliminate it and let someone doing a restoration have the switch/cable.

No takers?

I can't tell what car it came from either, just thought it might fit your application with the 'A'.

4 minutes to go on Switch auction and I'm still high bidder. Cross your fingers.

Got it. BE/Spridget Hearer Switch / Control Cable. Now to get it here from the UK. 21 pounds winning bid. May not be the correct knob but planning on ordering all new knobs from Ashley Hinton. Slowly but surely I'll find my missing pieces to make Bugsy II whole again. Next up a wiper switch. That at least is orderable via the usual suspects. Thanks again for the tip on this auction

Way to go, Jim. A little over $30 and I've found shipping from the UK to often be cheaper than shipping across this country.

Kurt.

Issue now is when he originally wrote add he did not include Intl Shipping. For some reason he cannot update his add to include Intl Postage. He's got to go back to E-Bay to fix. E-Bay let me bid on it. I may need to get it sent to someone in the UK and have them forward to me.

PayPal Fixed. I'm now good to go.Yeah.!!!

Hey I need one of them. Tell me what you want for it and postage and I'll pop a check in the mail. Hey thanks for the help. And yes Ashley Hinton, Hilton it must be Hinton, has a complete set of knobs available.

FLower Garden is half in and yard is almost back in shape. Soon I will get time with Bugsy II. Right now all I can do is source parts that I know I need. Dash had everything replaced with Rocker Switches years ago in '85 when it was taken apart and recovered. As in Pre MOSS Motors. Back then, pre Internet, you did what you could to find a substitute when something broke.

yea, don't take money... postage isn't worth talking about on this item... The only dash item I can't get is a working window washer pump....

I took mine apart and spent some time on it. The trick to making it work is the check valves. If I remember correctly there is one in the supply line in the bottom of the jug and one in the exit port of the pump. Both have to be intact and functional for it will not work. You can replace them with in-line check valves available at aquarium stores (I think).

Unless you just want everything original, a better use for that hole in the dash in a 12V accessory port. It is exactly the right size.

I do want that one OEM.... I put my ports just out of sight under the dash.. By the way the big H had the same set up....year escapes me... also the knob is sold brandy new through I believe Hinton....I had thought of sawing one of the many bad units I have and making a electric pump unit out of it...with the dash looking OEM (pushing the pump knob activates E pump)
