heater hose bracket

Well, I've searched the archives to no avail for the thread
where someone asked about the hose attachment bracket
at the front of my BE. I posted some pics and such and it was thought to be hard to find at the usual vendors.
Well...here's one on E-bay.

I wish I could remember who asked...but...all those years of Rock and Roll have taken their toll.
Hope this helps whoever it was.

It could have been me asking yesterday, however I was having a tough time with the post, so I gave up. I was trying to ask if this ebay item is for a 1960 Bugeye. I have seen pictures if Bugeyes with the air valve up near the heater. Where is the proper place for the valve?

Thank you

This part is available from VB Catalog for around $40 or so. Likely plastic however. Moss does not carry in their catalog. I need to order one of these for the heater air inlet. I think these things must have easily rusted out as they are not a common part to see or find on E-Bay.

AHSpares P/N XCHT164. Price is about $33.00. I can't imagine that it would be plastic from them.

You should be using the later type which should be avail about everywhere.
I have one out of a '68 if you need it.

Bill,

Since I have a BE Bonnet fitted thinking if I use it will need the BE Bracket for my Bugsy my '68. Haven't yet decided to reinstall as need to relocate horn/s to other side of the car and heater hose interferes with changing filter and getting dizzy access.

Do you have a MOSS Part # for the later Heater assembly bracket. I know there is a spot on the shroud, I didn't realize there was a separate bracket needed.

The arm part, I have an extra, the part with the round opening came from VB.
