TR2/3/3A heater core

smallmouth tr3. looks like the heater core is leaking. there are drip marks and some anti freeze on the passenger side of the tunnel, and the rubber floor mat on the driver side has something. i cleaned it up once, and its back.

how hard is it to remove the heater core?
 
Put a Triumph Spitfire heater in your 3 if originality isn't an issue. It fits nice and throws way more heat and dosn't cost a fortune. I don't think the original heaters can be repaired very well.
 
Is there any specific year that works best?
