Heater Control Panel

I recently purchased a new heater control panel for my BT7 from Moss. When I tried to install it I noticed it had a dip in the top edge where the panel meets the dash, instead of being flat like the original panel. This left a small gap between the dash and the top of the panel. Moss sent another but it had the same concave top surface as the first.
I called Moss and had them check several other panels and all of them had the dip.
My orginal fits the dash perfectly with no gap. Anyone else run into this problem? Is there another source that fits better?

Rob.
I just got around to installing a panel that I have had for a couple of years and I also have a small gap. The old one has been out for so long I can not remember how it fit. I did not see any paticular way to get rid of the gap but it is uniform on mine so it looks correct.
