Going to put in the heater tomorrow. I need to put some foam between the heater core and the housing. What can I use??

If you mean inside the heater I used weather striping from ACE, sticky on one side.
If you ment on the bottom of the box where it fits to the car, haven't solved that yet but closed cell of some sort. I have seen sheets of it someplace just don't remember.
I have the sealant for around the bottom. RV tape (kinda like putty) that is ok with heat. The one inside I need and you guys came through again. Thanks
It's happened again. I have the heater put together and repainted, gasket material on and ready to go. Can't find where I put the flapper hardware. The cable hold down and trion. I know it's in a safe place cause I remember looking at them and thinking "good place so they don't get lost". And now I can't find them. AAAHHGGHGHG!!!

Problem is Tony, my wife loves those big plastic bins too. We have 3 closets stacked to the ceiling with 'em. Uh... and not a one of them has a label /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif and... half or more are just junk I wish was gone, but Julie wants to keep for whatever reason. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Well, without the labels they're just another pile of stuff....you've seen my little metal building with them - marked...& there's the 2 stacks of bins for my V8 car....& the stack of bins for the TD....I love 'em!
If it's a "work in progress" a pegboard, a hole punch, some "ZipLoc" plastic bags and a "Sharpie" pen are YOUR FRIEND! Bag it, I.D. it, hole punch it and HANG THE BASTAGE!
What is really sad is I have a seal a meal set up in the garage just for this kind of situation. Dumb!!!! I will find them!!!!!!!

Shucks I too have a system, unrestored parts go here, bolts and fastners in this big box here, and finished stuff over in this corner. Never a problem only three places to look.
