heater and manifold piping

Any one have a close up pic of the correct piping for the heater and manifold? I have 1300 in a 63 spit. Seems I have an extra "t" fitting in line. I have a 1147 sitting in the garage and may steal the fitting going into the head and put it on the 1300 so It can accept the hose coming from the heater valve.
I did a little checking and did the best I could but wondering of the proper flow for the system.
