Gee Jack, I'm gonna beat you.
All I have left is to finish making the masonite panels,
Cover them in vinyl, replace the speedo cable cause it broke at 2 tenths of a mile, (on jack stands) replace the master cylinder, install the hubcaps and windshield.
Tonight I prepped another master and made the little metal tabs inside the windshield frame because the old ones rusted away. New glass is installed but I need those little "L" bits to screw the 58 windshield frame together, they are like inner nuts.
Other than the speedo and a very slight brake fluid leak at the master, everything works. I just finished up some loose electrical tonight. I do need to rebuild my spare generator since the one that works is a bit noisey and the one that doesn't work is quiet.

Jack will be done by tuesday morning, hunting for more things to do....
If you put the bonnet on by yourself Jack, please share your technique.

I installed my bonnet myself but before the engine went in.
Set it in place, latch it, climb under, bolt it in while the wife says all looks good.
The engine goes in via a floor jack right thru the front.

Oh no, bonnett goes on with help and pads.

Yea I figure a good day and a half if all goes well.

Been thinking about carbs and wonder now if the butterflys are in there correctly as well, I did not put them in. But I do know the top tilts toward the engine.

Runs out to the garage and installs Hub caps so he can beat Frank at something.

Check off first item.

I am willing to wait a couple of weeks and when you guys finish you can come up to toronto and work on mine in a shed with a dirt floor and no heat and no room in a 12X20 shed with a midget and a mini in it LOL

Y'all going to have a busy week. I'm just hoping to get my dash mirror installed this week, I'll take that for progress.

Played a couple of good private parties over the last few weeks, so I've got some funds for the Tunebug budget again. Time to pull the radiator and gas tank and get them off to be cleaned and renewed.

Jack

I hope the weather permits you to finish your list.

Patrick

The heck with the weather, think I will just press on today.
I'm not much for football.

Good luck, hope it all goes in smoothly. Send pictures, we like to see real progress. Good motivation for those of us who are slacking a bit. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Pics when I get the vinyl and carpet in. Not much to see on the other jobs.
