Re: Healey's paint progress up-date...

Oh man...as much as I love my Spridget, there's *nothing* that compares with a big AH in race trim. Looks good! I'll assume you've got some vintage-race plans for the car.
I'm refinishing my car right now...after bashing the Armco at Watkins Glen, I patched it together and repainted it with a brush (for the last event in WV). Mine'll never be perfect....I'm just looking for "20 foot status". Good luck!

Looking good Randy. Where is the car now? From the picture it looks like it's in a showroom.

Randy;
Looks really nice! It appears that you have nice panel gaps and contour alignments all around.
Have a Safe and Happy New Year!

LOL!
Thanks for noticing, correcting those panel gaps cost the better part of $8k! Paint job cost another $8k.

Paul's "partial" restoration (making the body fit on the chassis that I built from the ground up and contracting out the paintwork) cost four times (4 X) what I originally paid for the car in 1978.

There's no denying that Paul turns out a nice product, some of the cars in his shop leave you breathless (even my wife was awestruck).

Thanks too, Johnny & Jeff. The encouragement will be used to maintain motivation...
