May be a silly question, but how does one figure out whats fair to charge for spares? I'm trying to consolidate & get my girls back on the road. But I want to be fair& help out other Healey owners.I,ve looked at adverts& E-bay(seems expensive for whats offered). cheers Geno

for me its recovery of cost and post if its going to a personal car, if its a commercial buyer, well, we all get a little hard nosed then

When I got my car it came with 6 old milk cartons full of stuff, much of which does not fit my car. My MGA came from the same guy with about the same amount of stuff. I have been giving it to people who need it just for freight. Have a good day!

I have been charged for parts and some parts have been donated to me. Most of the folks who charged me took a look at the Moss catalog and knocked it down a little. Some folks wouldn't take a dime no matter how hard I pressed.

For me, if I have it and the other person needs it, I want them to be able to get their car on the road. I'll just give it to them. There are only a couple of parts that I really don't want to part with and if I did, I'd have to charge so I could replace them on my shelf.
