Actually ON The Twilight Zone. June 1960 "Mr.Bevis"

Orson Bean's (character's) junker car is transformed by an angel into a nice BT7. Not mentioned by name however, te car got good screen time.
I think Rod Serling must have had as good taste in automobiles as in sci fi.

Rod Serling was a whole lot more than a TV show host. He was also a WWII combat hero, an excellent and highly successful writer, and achieved international fame as a screen writer, director and producer.

A very interesting character in his personal life as well. Plus, he liked Healys!

Quite a guy. . .

In another episode, The Old Man in the Cave" a Sprite is seen being drawn by a horse.
I realize the whole series of comments this opens up.

That image needs a caption under it: *This* is why you should always carry a spare axle!"

My favortite old Brit car photo is the one with Barbara Walters (when she was about 18) on the cover of Popular Mechanics in a AH 100-4.
