Healey on Velocity Channel tv show - USA

So I'm watching 'Legendary Motorcars' on the Velocity channel the other night here in the good old USofA, and it was about a Healey! Actually - my channel guide spelled it Healy. The guy was going to buy a '66 Healey from some gal who was selling off her deceased fiancee's 'stuff'. Strange slow. Long story short - the car was a yellow over white colour and otherwise seemed ok. Not Primrose, but YELLOW.
Anyone else see the show? It was a bit lame. They kept refering to it as a 'nice little car'. This guy deals in Ferrari's and Cobra's and rare muscle cars. It's usually a good show overall. But the Healey seemed like total chump change to him. But - it did rate a whole show. Sort of. There was maybe 5 minutes of the actual Healey footage.
Technical content: the clutch slave cylinder was leaking. And the plugs needed changing. Car ran pretty good once those were fixed.

I saw it - thought he bought the car for a steal price - just under $20k.

Agree it was a weird show - they bought this car from a widow's inherited monster museum, then they ran this phoney skit about a potential buyer who wanted to pay $17k and wanted the car to run as reliably as a brand-new car. The whole thing seemed really a stretch.

He's is little to pompous for me...his kid is worse!!

A couple of weeks ago, Wheeler Dealer (two Brits who buy and "restore" assorted cars) on the Velocity Channel restored a Bug Eye Sprite. It was actually well done. Except they changed to original red to a strange blue. They showed how they re-polished the bright trim and changed to 4 wheel disc brakes.

Got that one saved on the DVR. Hmm I really liked Dream Car Garage and Sports Car Revolution. Tom was a hoot
.
