Forum Friends,

Last year my wife and I were fortunate enough to travel with a group of Southern California Austin Healey enthusiast to Scotland for the 4[SUP]th[/SUP]Annual European Meet. We shipped seven of our big Healey’s over to the U.K. to attend this Meet and to tour Scotland and England.

It was a trip of a lifetime.

In the latest edition of the Healey Marque Magazine, the official magazine of the Austin Healey Club of America, my friend and fellow traveler,Mike Scroggie, wrote a terrific article on our experience in the U.K. Mike did a great job capturing the essence of our adventure and included some great photos as well.

I would encourage all of you to read the article and kudos to Mike Scroggie for going through the effort to share this article with all of us.

Cheers,

Jeff

P.S.
The Fifth Annual European Meet will be held in France in2018, see you all there.

The article was a Great read, but where in France and what are the dates in 2018? Where do we get the details to start planning the trip? thanks - jim:driving:

Healey106,

I am not certain of all the details but it will be held in late May and Early June in the North of France adjacent to the Germam border. Some of us joined the Healey Drivers Club in the U.K It kept us in the loop and assured us a place at the table. https://www.healeydriversclub.uk.co

Also, keep an eye on our club website The Austin Healey Association of Southern California https://www.austin-healey.org as there are many of us who will be returning. As soon as there is more information available I will provide it to the Forum.

What we learned was to buy in as soon as possible as they wiil run out of spaces. We ran into a group of Dutch Healey Owners who couldn't get into the event so they organized their owm U.K. event with 35 Healeys in attendance.

Cheers,

Jeff
