Most Healey enthusiasts are well-versed in the story of Gerry Coker's timeless designs for the Austin-Healey 100 and the Sprite. But, before the first production 100-4 ever rolled off the line in Warwick, there were numerous sketches of various ideas and several design mules. I had the pleasure of working with John Nikas and Gerry to recreate what one of the last of the mules looked like. We worked with a very few period photos of the original car (including one of the mock-up frame with the axle was sitting on wood blocks) and Gerry's still keen memory of the car. What a blast to draw!
